Made from 1875 - 1889. Six shot, 7-1/2" round barrel, .44-40 caliber. This gun has been cold blued, much of the original blue is showing through. The barrel markings are fine. "44" stamped on frame flat. Excellent grips. Tight action. Fine bore. Strong case colors on hammer. These guns are fairly scarce in blue finish. This is a very clean, handsome Western revolver favored by Frank James.
