Serial No. 147973. Manufactured 1891. This is a fine antique Colt Frontier six shooter, .44-40, with 4-3/4" barrel, blue and case colored finish, with turquoise and sterling silver after-market grips. Clean barrel retains 7% original factory blue that is starting to plum as does trigger guard and backstrap. Cylinder is smooth patina. Case colors have darkened. All four clicks. Fine clean bore. Handsome antique Colt six shooter.`
