Hard to find holster size pistol in this design by such a famous London maker and in such fine all original finish. This pistol hosts an over under 8” barrel in 48 caliber, both smooth bores and very clean with no pitting. Barrels retain almost all of their original high polish factory blue and there is a belt or sash attachment on left side along with all the British proofs. The frame also retains almost all of its original high polish blue finish as well. The checkered walnut bag style grip is also in near mint condition Has the original brass rod attached on right side of barrels as well and the top of the barrel is marked with the maker. An incredibly nice mid nineteenth century over under swivel breech horse or holster pistol in extra fine condition.
