Circa 1800 to 1820. Double-sided black transfer printed decoration of a monument to George Washington, eagle, and an allegorical figure of America, within banners inscribed "Washington in Glory," and "America In Tears." The reverse with decoration of a three-masted sailing ship flying an American flag. Beneath the spout decoration of an American eagle and banner inscribed "E Pluribus Unum".
