.54 caliber smooth bore. Made from 1819 - 1823 from Simeon North of Middletown, Connecticut. 10" round barrel. Swivel steel ramrod. Iron mountings. Chips around the lock, lock is marked "S. North". "Production 1821" stamped on frame. "J.P. & U.S." stamped on barrel. All brown patina. Fine working order. Very good stocks. Clean bore.
