Serial No. 1478. This rifle began life as a foreign military rolling block rifle. It is in as found condition with vintage Indian decorations and alterations as follows; 20” cut down barrel, leather bindings on fore end and wrist, and vintage brass tack decorations. The metal surfaces exhibit rust and pitting and there is visible rifling in bore. Working. All decorations appear to be contemporary to the period of use. Bore is approximately .40 caliber.
