Serial No. 39851. Side release, tip-up barrel, single shot, .42 caliber. Strong excellent bore. Has a 27" round matted barrel. Has a folding lead rear mid-sight and a filled rear sight, two blank rear sight slots (scope mounts). The rifle has fine engraving, a bullet trap, excellent wood, fold-up peep sight. Markings are fine. Side hammer. Set triggers. Frame is gun metal grey, barrel is blue starting to plum with some freckling, forearm checkering is worn with a couple of small chips. Excellent butt stock with original varnish.
