Early French pale bisque socket head by Jules Steiner incised only “3/0” (large cheek rub, light speckling, nose rub, flake on back rim, tiny red line at side of neck, red line on left temple, light brown line and a squiggly firing line on right temple), feathered eyebrows, blue paperweight eyes with lots of threading, painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, replaced mohair wig; original unmarked Steiner composition jointed body with stubby fingers (some repaint, soil, three fingers repaired, fingers worn, wear at joints}; redressed in new silk dress with fur hat and muff, one shoe missing. So rare to find this model, so enchanting!
