Serial No. 82555. This is a beautifull martially marked revolver with 8" octagon barrel, six shot, .44 caliber percussion, single action, cartouched walnut grips, blued finish with all parts martially inspected. Barrel and web retain 75% high polish factory blue. Frame is basically smooth patina with some brilliant blue in recesses. Cylinder retains approximately 70% original blue. Excellent walnut grips with sharp cartouche. Uncleaned brass. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. Fine example of a large frame Civil War revolver.
