Serial No. 110748. All matching numbers including wedge. Manufactured 1861. This is a fine Colt Model 1851 Navy. 36 caliber single action percussion revolver with London barrel address. The frame, loading lever, barrel, trigger guard and backstrap are beautifully engraved. Trigger guard has a stamp with an "L". All metal surfaces are a smooth brown-grey patina. Brass remains uncleaned. Very good grips with small chip at right front face. Strong bore with some minor corrosion. Perfect lock up. Comes in vintage original wood case with an original bag flask, Colt bullet mold, nipple wrench, Eley cap tin, key, worn blue lining and Colt factory letter. Letter states it was shipped to Kittridge in 1861 with 100 guns standard blue cased.
