Serial No. 516669. This rifle, manufactured in 1909, features a 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, and rifle butt. The barrel has been re-blued and retains all the re-applied finish. The receiver retains 80% of the original finish on both sides, with most of the finish gone from the bottom of the receiver. It has a Savage Arms rear sight. The left side of the receiver has added tap holes. The hammer is replaced with an off-set style. The butt stock is excellent and has never been sanded. The forearm has been painted with a checkering style pattern and could possibly be removed. It is chambered for the .25-20 Winchester round. The bore is strong but frosted. Full operational.
