Serial No. 766870. This rifle, manufactured in 1914, has a standard 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, and rifle butt. In addition it has a marbles tang sight. It is chambered for the .25-20 Winchester cartridge. The barrel finish is a sharp crisp sooth blue-brown patina with some fine pitting near the breach. Tube is a replacement, and frame has been cleaned of any finish. Fine salt and pepper pitting on the left side. Very good wood that has been refinished at one time and is slightly shy to metal. It has a strong bore. Full operational.
