Serial No. 460303B. This saddle ring carbine, started off life in 1893 as a typical carbine. It has been re-barreled and re-chambered to .38 special, a ramp front sigh has been added, and the tube has also been replaced. The original 1873 ladder carbine sight is still present. The gun has been beautifully engraved with bas relief figures on both panels. The stock has been refinished and checkered. Standard curved carbine buttplate. Metal retains virtually all of the blue finish. Bore is mint, operates perfectly.
