Serial No. 316544. This solid frame rifle sports a 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, and carbine style buttplate. It is chambered for the .30-30 Winchester. The rear site elevator is missing. The barrel and tube retain 95% of the original blue finish, starting to dull. the receiver is clean, retaining 20-30% original case colors. Wood is excellent, not sanded, proud to metal. Very strong bore with light frosting. Fully operational. A fine, clean .30-30 Marlin that does not appear to have ever been messed with.
