Only 15000 Kennedy lever actions made in both frame sizes and calibers, these large frames are extremely hard to find, especially with any kind of condition. This gun is chambered in the popular Winchester caliber, 40-60. It is fairly standard rifle with a 28” octagon barrel and full magazine. It remains in lovely original untouched factory condition. The entire barrel and tube are a pleasing blue brown having never been touched. The same goes for the receiver. The loading gate still has some of the original blue. The walnut stocks are excellent with a few dings here and one small chip on right forearm near nose cap but stocks have never been messed with. Action, of course, operates like new and the bore is strong and clean. Made from 1879-1886.
