Manufactured 1850 - 1870. Barrel length: 31-1/4". Choke dimension: R - cylinder; L - rifle. Length of pull: 13". The barrel is a pleasing patina; the frame lite patina; rifle bore is dirty, pitted, and has strong rifling; shotgun bore is frosted. There is an old repair to the lock area of the stock. The gun's front sight is loose, there are two empty holes on top rib, and there are no proof marks. The stock has two patchbox/bullet traps and is decorated with numerous engraved inlays. Gun appears to be a European-American hybrid and deserves further research.
