Approximately 125 ever made. Manufactured in the mid 1830’s, nine shot with a 29-3/4” octagon barrel in 50 caliber percussion under hammer. Strong rifling but some corrosion. Easy release top latch allows the entire magazine to be easily removed. Excellent walnut stocks redone at one time as the metal butt plate is proud over wood but is free of cracks or any repairs. Metal was re-done at one time and there is fine pitting under areas of the finish. Indexes and locks up by hand, then cocked and fired. Another never seen extremely early revolving turret rifle.
