Serial No. 9897. All matching numbers, except wedge, including shoulder stock. Hard to find matched Colt Model 1860 Army .44 caliber percussion revolver with matching number shoulder stock. The revolver is basically a dull gun metal gray patina with no remaining cylinder scene. Barrel stamps are weak but readable. Gun locks up fine and lines up albeit a bit out of time. Some strong rifling in this standard 8” barrel but grooves are cloudy. Nice original BH (Benjamin Harris) cartouche on left grip with a couple of small chips on front toe. Nice uncleaned brass on stock metal with really nice wood. A fairly hard to find matching 1860 set made in 1861 at the outset of the war.
COLT FACTORY SHOULDER STOCKED 1860 ARMY REVOLVER.
