No serial number. Lovely double side by side hammer side lock Damascus 12 ga side by side shotgun made from 1834-1838 by Joseph Manton of London. Barrels measure 29 3/8”. LOP to front trigger is 14 1/8”. The barrels retain the majority of the original browned finish. Both locks and hammers intricately engraved and are in the white. The gun shows the skilled workmanship that is expected of a true Manton. Beautiful walnut deluxe grain piano finish stocks with fairly sharp checkering, never refinished. Smooth steel shotgun butt plate. Fine fire blue finish on engraved trigger guard. Original high finish cleaning rod intact. Not a single dent on barrels. Clean as new bores. The burl walnut case is original to gun and is loaded with accessories. Even the round ball mold is case colored and there are two flasks. Wonderful and high grade/condition cased set.
