Serial No. 133843. Manufactured in 1863. This is a no record gun but is absolutely factory engraved with the factory “E” stamped under each serial number stamp. The gun is 44 caliber percussion and is all matching numbers except the engraved wedge that is not numbered, but has the same engraving as gun so I feel it is the original wedge. Gun is basically a smooth gun metal color. The cylinder scene is mostly gone and appears as if it was re-plated and cleaned at one time and was not engraved but does have matching number as well. The original Ivory grips are beautifully toned and feature and engraved Liberty Eagle on left side. The bore is frosty but strong. Cylinder indexes perfectly but hammer does not stay on last click but does stay cocked and fires properly.
FACTORY ENGRAVED COLT 1860 ARMY REVOLVER.
