With Malcolm scope. Impressive 28” octagon barrel with 2” false muzzle. This 31 pound rifle is an under hammer design with an original Wm Malcolm scope that measures 26”. The barrel is finished in the white and is extremely clean. Caliber gauges at 50. The stock is fitted with a beautiful full deluxe varnish finish and finely checkered and exhibits no cracks anywhere albeit a few dings. Even the trigger guard has most of the original high polish fire blue present. Bore is mirror. Front of barrel has mount. Front sight dovetail is empty. Another individually hand built mid nineteenth century bench rifle employed for sniper use during the Civil War.
