Aside from being a fabulous usable high quality 20 gauge, this gun was sold in 1956, by Honus Wagner's' wife, Bessy Wagner, to Joseph Cyprowski. The shotgun has an inlaid silver plaque in the butt engraved "Honus Wagner". It is accompanied by the original receipt, and the newspaper article about the sale of the shotgun. Fabulous shotgun, but may be important to the baseball fans who have memories of a man who's arguably the greatest shortstop who's ever played MLB. A superstar in his time who played with the Pittsburgh Pirates. It seems as if nowadays his name is most closely associated with the two million dollar Honus Wagner T206 tobacco baseball card. Wagner is a baseball icon, a Pittsburgh Pirates legend, and an original member of baseballs HOF. Fabulous gun owned at one time by one of baseballs immortals. Sure to be a home run in any collection. Serial No. 152085. Here is a nice little field grade 20 gauge Parker. 28” matted ribbed barrels. It is in nice but used condition. Most of the blue remains on barrels. Receiver is mostly silvered out. Bores are mint. Nice stock with small chip out of toe and silver shield inlay. Fore end checkering is rather worn with some hits. 14” LOP to front trigger. Modern but C&R eligible.CORRECTION: This is a 16 gauge not a 20 gauge. It has a 2 1/2" chamber.
