This shotgun bares a presentation plaque in leaded into the stock inscribed as follows; Cump's of Friends Hans Wagner Carnegie Aug. 30 - 01". This shotgun is accompanied by the original sales receipt identified by serial number sold in 1956. It is of great historical significance as it was given to arguable the greatest ball player of the time, in the prime of his HOF career. It is probably of more importance to any Pittsburgh Pirates fan, than to a shotgun collector given the condition of the gun. To just imagine the famed Pirates short stop on the day this fine shotgun was presented to him by his friends and fans. It will be a crown jewel in any shotgun and/or baseball memorabilia collection.
