Serial No. 38070. This rifle is chambered for the scarce early .40-72 W.C.F.. Round barrel has been cut to 25-1/4". Fore end has pearl inlays and repair. Rear stock is a replacement, shy to metal, and checkered. Overall finish of gun is grey patina with freckling. Manufactured in 1903. Action is fine. Bore is excellent.
