Serial No. 1636824. Manufactured by Quality Hardware. Fairly typical M1 carbine from World War II. Chambered for the .30 carbine round. Stock has been hand checkered. Wood filler where sling cut originated. Refigured front sight. Barrel is a 3-43 Underwood barrel. Fine action. Works fine. Good parts gun or shooter as is.CORRECTION: The right side of the rear sight is marked GE-O. There isn't any import marking. The front of the magazine catch is marked LT. The sling swivel is marked QU. The front side is the original carbine and it's grounded on both sides.
