Serial No. 284008-C. Only about 2% of all pre series 70 Model 1911’s were factory nickel plated. Offered is a fine example that was Manufactured in 1959. It retains virtually all of the factory nickel finish albeit there are the usual storage marks found on this finish. It is a standard 1911 in all other respects , chambered for the .45 ACP round. Comes with the original stamped nickel magazine. Mint bore and action. Housed in wood grain two piece box with proper nickel sticker. No number on bottom of box. Grips are a pair of Colt silver medallion faux Ivory. Wonderful early post war factory nickel 45.
