Serial No. 15823. Offered is a beautiful top quality London made hammer gun. Manufactured in 1881 and chambered for the 12 gauge. Features include 31" Damascus barrels, side locks are marked "W.C. Scott & Son" and feature light engraving. Rib is marked "London, Laminated Steel". Barrels feature a smooth Damascus pattern with no dents or weld repairs. Gun faces and locks up tight, perfect firing pins, right side lever barrel release, mirrored bores, double triggers, and 14" length of pull to front trigger. Receiver is bright with traces of case colors. Excellent wood stocks with fine checkering, silver inlay, and a smooth steel buttplate. Full/full. Bead front sight. A wonderful, all original, finely crafted London double that locks up tight as new. Manufactured for black powder shells only.
