Serial No.95082. This Colt New Service double action revolver comes with factory letter and was shipped to the London armory on January 6th, 1916, early during the first World War. Standard features include a 5-1/2" barrel, caliber .455, double action, blued finish, hard rubber monogrammed grips. Gun has a strong bore with light frosting. Perfect action. There are several English proof marks on both right and left side of gun. Barrel retains 50-60% original factory blue starting to plum with a little fine pitting at muzzle. Frame and cylinder retains a majority of their factory blue finish, albeit more on their high edges and wear to the grip straps and top strap. Perfect grips. Lanyard ring in butt.
