Serial No. 3370452. Barrel is a Springfield Armory 3-1955. Caliber .30-06 semi-automatic. Excellent condition M1-D sniper with military M-82 scope. Mount etched 691. Has eagle cartouche left side, 'P" on the pistol grip, MRT1-55 cheek pad. Single post. Retains virtually all of the parkerized finish. Excellent stocks. Has flash suppressor. Griffin & Howe quick release scope mount is not typical military.UPDATE: We believe this gun started life as a M1-C with the serial number falling within the M1-C range of 1944-1945 (3,090,000 - 3,900,000). The scope mount is M1-C and does have the proper M1-C M82 scope. Rifle, scope base and scope have mismatched numbers which is not uncommon. The barrel is a replacement dated 3-55 which puts the barrel out of the date range of a true M1-C rifle. This rifle was most likely arsenal refurbished after the Korean War.
