Sculpture by Austrian artist Carl Kauba. Deemed by collectors as one of the great portrayers of the American West despite never actually stepping on American soil. This artistic achievement depicts a cavalry soldier on spirited mount with raised pistol. Inscribed: C. Kauba on bronze base. Patinas of light and dark browns with the rider's blouson in green. A very fine casting but with a small scuff in the finish of horse's right rear leg.
