Serial No. 22308. This is a fairly standard model 1890 pump action rifle chambered for the .22 WRF manufactured in 1905. Features include 24-1/2" full octagon barrel, full magazine, walnut stock with rifle buttplate. The barrel retains the majority of the original factory blue finish, turning plum, as is the loading tube. The receiver has darkened to a smooth finish. There are traces of case colors on the hammer. Wood is excellent and proud to the metal, having never been refinished, retaining a majority of the original vanish. Action locks up and works perfectly. Bore is dark with some well-defined rifling. Overall a very clean and excellent example of this popular take down rifle.
