Serial No. G1862572. Offered is a beautiful big bore model 70 that features exquisite fire grain walnut stock, Winchester red rubber recoil pad, jeweled bolt, and a 24" barrel. Rear sight has been removed. Still has hooded ramp front sight. Action has a Leupold base and rings mounted. Metal retains virtually all of the original factory blue finish. Beautiful stock with a couple of minor bumps. Mint bore and action. This caliber, the .300 Holland & Holland magnum, is one of the finest cartridges ever developed and has been a mainstay in classic English rifles since its inception in 1927, and while not designated as super grade the stock exhibits super grade wood. A wonderful and handsome big bore rifle.
