Serial No. 145615. Manufactured from 1933 to 1942. Chambered for the .22 long rifle. Standard features include a 24" round barrel, magazine fed, bolt action. This is a custom bolt action rifle that features an A.F. Stoger barrel band, stock swivel, Henshaw trigger shoe, a Whelen sling, and American walnut stock. It was originally purchased in 1938 with all metal re-blued and stock refinished in 1975. The barrel and action are stamped "Savage Model 23 AA", the front sight slot has been filled, rifle has been topped with a Weaver J4 scope, top of the comb has a leather pad. Rifling is strong and shiny. Action is perfect. In as new condition as refurbished. Should make a fine shooter. Original magazine included.
