Ed. Benoid bought this C.S.A swagger cane from James Gaylord Pearson, now deceased, resident of Kansas City, KS. Jim Pearson attested that he acquired the cane from the sole remaining descendent of the original owner, who traced the "deadline" boundries of civil war prison Andersonville located in the state of Georgia.
