Serial No. 404983. Manufactured in 1922. Handy little Winchester Carbine chambered for the 30 Gov’t-06. 22” round barrel with the grooved forearm and Carbine butt plate. The barrel is a mix of blue and gray and has had sight mounting holes filled on top of the barrel. It is missing the hand guard. The frame retains approx. 30% of the blue mixing with patina. It sports the famous Slidin` Lyman model 21 receiver sight. The saddle ring stud is present but is missing the ring. Bore is strong with some frosting. Action works like new. The rear sight alone sells for over $400. This rifle would make a handy little carbine in the fields this fall.
