Serial No. 61007. The Steyr mannlicher is a bolt-action sniper rifle produced by Steyr Mannlicher and serves as the standard sniper rifle for the Austrian Army. Adopted in 1969 (hence the designation), it was ahead of its time with the use of synthetics and cold hammer-forged barrels for durability. The SSG-69 is the Austrian Army's standard issue sniper rifle. The SSG-69 is also used by several law enforcement organizations. The SSG is extremely accurate and several international competitions have been won using an SSG-69 with accuracy being sub 0.5 MOA. This rifle is chambered for the 7.62x51 round. Imported by L.E.S., it remains in near mint condition. Mint bore and action. Most of the original finish. Topped with the Simmons original classic 2x10x44 scope. Made in Austria.
