Serial No. G1490023. This is the model 70XTR chambered for the venerable 25-06 Remington round. It is a standard sporting rifle in all respects with the 24” round barrel. Features include a jeweled bolt, a finely checkered walnut monte carlo stock, sling swivels, Winchester butt plate and grip cap and a hooded ramp front sight with folding adjustable rear. Gun is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Rifle has seen little use. Retains almost all factory blue finish. Most gunnies know the Winchester Model 70 is one of the finest bolt action ever manufactured. Manufactured in 1981. Should provide a lifetime of service to the new owner.
