Serial No. 423. The SVT-40 was a semi-automatic rifle used by the Soviets. It had an effective range of 500 meters and was widely used during World War II. This particular rifle has the 1941 star dated receiver. All proper proofs. Original stock. The magazine number does not match the serial number on the rifle. The stock matches the serial number, also stamped 423. The bolt has 423 etched into it. Rifle has seen service. Retains most of the original arsenal refinish. Excellent stocks, very good bore. Perfect action. Comes with Original sling. This rifle shoots the standard 7.62 round, easily attainable, fairly inexpensive and should be loads of fun to shoot.
