Serial No. 217003. This is a fairly standard Bisley model Colt single action chambered for the .32-20 Winchester cartridge with the 4-3/4" barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1901 although it has seen much use, the action locks up perfect with the distinct Colt four clicks. Factory stamps are very good. Overall finish is basically a soft grey patina with evidence of a very old refinish. Most screws are burred. Original grips are almost completely worn smooth. Strong clean bore. Should make a fine shooter.
