Serial No. 23712. Manufactured 1882. Offered is a scarce Winchester model 1876 full stock carbine. Standard features include 22" round barrel, single barrel band, full stock, saddle ring with carbine buttplate. .45-60 Winchester caliber. All metal surfaces are a speckled brown-grey patina. Rear sight is a crud homemade replacement. Wood shows extensive war and is a bit shy to metal. The action works perfectly. Rifling shows wear with some minor corrosion.
