Kentucky style. Matching set of two pistols, percussion with rifled barrels. Approx .40 cal. One lock is marked "Montgomery" the other lock is marked "Layman Carey & Co". Similar but not identical. Both feature 8 - 3/4" full octagon barrels. Both have the Pergram stamp on top, and original ram rods. Unpolished brass accents and trigger guards. Stained maple stocks. Both pistols are working. Bores could use a good cleaning. Metal parts are dark patina. The original case is lined in green velvet. Has a Pergram silver plaque on the inside lid. One percussion tin, and a space for one that is missing. Includes a rusty bullet mold. Also includes a tin powder flask with a rusty loading tool.
