Manufactured from 1814 to 1817. Contract was awarded to H. Deringer for 2,000 flintlock rifles. It is a .54 caliber single shot flintlock ignition. Has a 35-1/2" barrel. All metal has been cleaned, some of the markings are faint. Has brass flashpan and oval cap box. All wood has been refinished. Cartouche is missing. Wood shy to metal. Very good clean bore.
