Serial No. 564.. Springfield Armory 1849-1851. ,69 caliber, single shot, muzzle loader, 42 " round barrel, three band flint lock musket. The hammer has the heart shaped opening and is a replacement. Brass flash pan and 1840 lock date with U.S. eagle. Top of barrel stamped "W.C. Company". Wood is original and fairly banged up. Barrel dirty. Has a tulip head ramrod. All metal is brown patina. Working order.
