Serial No. 1185043. Manufactured by Colt in 1943. It is a standard Army 45 in all respects. Frame has GHD inspector stamp on frame. P stamped on both frame and slide. Frame stamped M1911 A1 U.S.ARMY on right side. All parts are checkered. Keyes plastic grips perfect. Original magazine. Clean strong bore. Gun retains virtually all of the deep dark parkerized finish (original), factory stamps sharps as are edges. Can still see the darker front 2” on frame and slide. High condition mid war Colt Manufactured 45 automatic.
