Serial No. 4996. Standard Colt 1911 A-1 copy, manufactured by Springfield armory, chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. It has been customized for target shooting with the following features: an adjustable target rear sight, high profile red insert front sight, Colt series 70 barrel, ambidextrous safety, wide Beaver-tail grip safety, jeweled adjustable trigger, Pachmayr wrap-around grips, extended slide stop, and magazine bump. Gun retains approximately 98% factory parkerized finish with minor high edge wear. Fine bore and action. Should make an excellent .45 target pistol.
