Serial No. 841295 was manufactured in 1942, early in the war. It has all original US issue period parts including milled checkered smalls with checkered arched main spring, Keyes brown plastic grips, dark parkerized finish, short checkered trigger, WB frame inspected with Proof P. Nice bore and action. The entire pistol is in excellent condition retaining at least 96% of the parkerized finish with some high edge slide wear only. Really nice early war Colt 1911 A1 .45 automatic pistol.UPDATE: SLIDE SERIAL NUMBER DOES NOT MATCH THE FRAME. SLIDE NUMBER IS 843936
