Serial No. 472192. Standard US Army issue .45 ACP manufactured in 1918. Often referred to as the Black Army, a late manufactured WW1 pistol. All proper milled and checkered small parts. Type 1 hammer. Original lanyard loop magazine. Frame is proofed with Ordinance Dept. Eagle head with S2. Original barrel with excellent bore. Original walnut diamond checkered grips. Long smooth trigger. Overall metal retains at least 90% original factory blue finish with few minor areas of toning. Grips excellent. Really nice high condition WW1 Colt Model 1911 proper in all respects.
