Serial No. 8131. One of the most sought after Nazi marked Lugers in the marketplace, referred to by collectors as the Black Widow model. It got this collector nickname as it is a BYF 1941 dated pistol with the black (original matching) grips and un-numbered black plastic magazine and the duller military blue finish that gives the gun an overall black gun appearance. This fine example is all original with every number matching in and out. As to condition, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer example. Overall metal finish , factory original, remains at least 98% with just a hint of high edge wear on left side plate, end of rails and muzzle. Even the grip straps retain virtually all of the original finish. Original grips are near mint and sharp with no cracks. Bore is sharp and shiny and gun works perfectly. Lovely straw colors intact. One of the best and most desirable Lugers one could want. Of course, has all the proper inspector stamps throughout. Our thanks to Mister Luger for completely disassembling each Luger in this collection for internal inspection.
