Serial No. 2218. Manufactured in 1931, the first year of the commercial Ace model. It is a standard Colt .45 automatic frame made to fire the .22 long rifle. Gun is all original and has all the proper parts except grips which are a pair of Colt Keyes style plastic grips. Original marked magazine. The gun retains at least 80% of the original high polish blue finish but has areas of rust and light pitting. If ever there was a worthwhile candidate for an expert restoration, this is it. Mint bore and action.
