No sheath. Manufactured by Tatham & Sons, London. Etched blade, engraved as follows "This sword was presented to A. Patterson by S.W. Blackall as a mark of respect and esteem for his character and conduct a sergeant major of the 85th regiment". Blade is in excellent condition with minor rusting, has a sharkskin wire wrapped handle, an English royal crown incised hand guard with leather liner. Dull blade, not sharpened.
